In Kentucky, riding a motorcycle under the influence falls under the same rules as operating any other ‘motor vehicle’ under the influence. The penalties are the same, and the implied consent laws apply. The per se alcohol limit for operating a motorcycle is 0.08 g/mL, just like for BUIs and motor vehicle DUIs.
The one difference between operating a motorcycle and other motor vehicles is that a motorcycle’s operator must comply with specific regulations outlined in KRS 189.285.
